Project Red wires and blocks and gates can be placed in the same 1 block space as any other forge multipart block.
Red Logic wires can only be placed in the same 1 block space as another wire of the same exact type,
regardless of whether it's free standing or placed wire.
I do not know if this applies to the other stuff from Red Logic.
Project Red has a wider variety of lamps (not including colors).
According to their copyright by default only the developer's can distribute Project Red,
however it also stipulates that it may be included in mod packs so long as A) it's non-profit, and B) it's legal.
